Well, I did it.  31 days of of scrapping.  I made 16 layouts and 15 cards.  Thanks to this challenge, Pai'vahn's next book is just about finished.  Here's the last page of the challenge.

Yesterday was a 2 page layout and today was a card using an image to stamp the sentiment on.  One more day to go and I will have 31 days projects completed in 31 days.  Wow!

Wow, I didn't realize that I had not posted my weekend challenges.  Very busy, crazy, fun weekend.  Well, here are the last four challenges days 22-25.  We're in the home stretch and I will have completed 15 pages for my Granddaughter's scrapbook.  Yes!

Day 17 - Pattern paper overlay and horizontal stripes are the theme for today's layout. The photos are me trying on my mom's hats!  Loads of fun!

Art Journaling

I'm learning a new technique - Art Journaling.  The March Scrapbook Pajama Party was learning the basic of art journling.  I don't think I did too bad for the 1st time.

Day 15 and 16 - Title going vertical instead of horizontal.

Okay, this is what happens when you complete a layout and it just does seem to work for you.  It bugs you all night and day until you go and do something about it.  So, here is the redo of the layout that I did yesterday for Day 13.  13, maybe that's why it didn't work for me.    Also pictured is today's challenge which is a card with the greeting going down the side instead of horizontal as in most cards.

Thursday, March 13th - Wow!  Tonight's assignment was to do a layout using the techniques learned so far.  This layout has stickles, misting, tall letters, glitter, circles, 3 different color twine and embellishments are clustered.   This was a challenge!

Wednesday, Day 12th - our challenge was a card.  Hope to post creations from the Art Journaling PJ Party by the weekend.

Day 11 Challenge is all about using circles and tall letters. Tomorrow I will be joining in our monthly PJ Scrapbook Party in addition to completing Day 12 Challenge.  Wow!  Busy and fun!

Wow, here it is Monday already.  It was a very busy weekend scrapping.  Here are the challenges for Day 8, 9 & today.

Well it's Friday night and I have just completed my challenge for Day 7 of the Sketch & Stash Workshop.  It's a layout of my beautiful grandbaby - well 9 1/2 yrs old in these picture, but still my baby.  I will be working on Gesso next which is a surface prep for mist and acrylics so stay tuned for the creations.

I completed a couple of pages for the "My Life Is A Project" challenge.  The month of February was all about the snow.  I still have one more page that I will be posting for February.

Day 6 - the challenge was a card from yesterday's scraps.  I also created a few other cards yesterday for my uncle's birthday.

Okay, busy, busy busy.  Here's day 3 and 4 challenges!  In these I use mist spray.  A little mist goes a long way in being creative.

Here's my 2nd day of Sketch & Stash - I used the left over paper from yesterdays project to create a simple card.

Looks like the next challenge I'm in I'll be posting a layout or card everyday. This should be interesting!  Here's the March 1st layout.

My other project tonight, Friday is a page for "My Project is a Life".  This is a series of pages which will represent a picture journal of my life for the year - 2014.  Here's January!

Well, it's Friday night and I've been busy.  I just completed my card for The Wiz Relay Challenge.  I used liquid glass on the eyes and the base of The Wiz and the square in the middle is sugar beads.

My  project tonight was to complete the Black History Month Bingo Layout.  The challenge was to see how many ways to win bingo by using the items on the bingo card.  Example: ribbon, die cut, brad, quote, etc.  It also had to reflect my moment of black history.   Here's my project.

My project today was completing the layout for the Make It Meaningful Challenge #4.  it was about my first childhood home.  I had to go to Dad for information about my first bedroom.  He tells me the room was sky blue. He wanted a boy.  I'll deal with him later-LOL.  Anyway, here's my completed project.

One of my new projects this year with my scrapbook on -line family Scraps of Colors is a project called "My Life Is A Project.  I will be creating a monthly picture journal of my life for a year, December 2013 to December 2014. Instead of layout pages, I will be using pocket page protectors.  They will be a page(s) for each month that will tell what my month was about.  In the end I will have a book that will tell my life for the year 2014.  Please enjoy my journey through the year!
